We operate Monday to Friday and follow the school academic calendar.

• Morning Nursery session: 9.00 – 12.00 (£17.00 for 2 year olds. £16.00 for 3 years and over)

Children aged 2 to 5 years old get very busy in the morning. The children are able to free flow from the outdoor to the indoor environment, selecting and taking part in a range of activities covering all 7 areas of development. Such as sensory play, phonics, puzzles, bikes and scooters, sand and water play, small world, books and stories, musical instruments. The children are offered a rolling snack between 10.00-10.30, giving them the opportunity to decide when to stop and refuel. The children bring in their own snack and are offered milk or water to drink.The session ends with a short circle time activity.

• Afternoon Nursery session: 12.00 – 3.00 (£17.00 for 2 year olds. £16.00 for 3 years and over)

It’s that time a day where all children aged 2 to 5 years old to sit down together for the social experience of lunch time. After lunch children are provided with a range of activities whilst the room is re-set, we ask the chidlren what they would like to play with and involve them in lots of choices. We go outside in all weather and make the most of our lovely garden.

In addition we run Before and After School Clubs for ages 2-11. You can use your 15/ 30 hours funding for these too.

• Breakfast Session: 8.00 – 9.00  (£7.00)

Early morning session offered to help out with those busy mornings!  We work in partnership with St Peter’s Primary School, next to us, and offer a Breakfast session for children aged 2 to 11 years old. The children are offered a range of cereals. The children can take part in a range of activities.

• After school session: 3.00 – 5.30 (£13.00)

The children enjoy a healthy snack of fruits, vegetables, toast, breadsticks, crackers etc. The children attending are given the opportunity to take part in a range of activities such as help with home work, reading, colouring, board games, messy activities, computer games, painting, baking and have access to the outdoors.

 

Flexible Childcare

When registered with us and subject to availability, we offer parents the option to book ‘last minute’ flexible session times for those moments when you need extra childcare support.

To book a session or even the whole day, simply call the Country Mice office to find out about availability – even if it’s for the following day!
