We operate Monday to Friday and follow the school academic calendar.
- Breakfast Session: 8.00 – 9.00 (£5.75)
- Early morning session offered to help out with those busy mornings! we work in partnership with St Peters Primary School -next to us- and offer a Breakfast session for children aged 2 to 11 years old.The children are offered a breakfast of a range of cereals and fruits. The children have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities.
- Morning Nursery session: 9.00 – 12.00 (£15:50 for 2 year olds. £14.50 for 3 years and over)
Children aged 2 to 5 years old get very busy in the morning. The children are able to free flow from the outdoor to the indoor environment, selecting and taking part in a range of activities covering all 7 areas of development. Such as sensory play, letter of the week activities, puzzles, bikes and scooters, sand and water play, Small world, books and stories,Musical instruments and many more The children are offered a rolling snack between 10.00-11.00,giving them the opportunity to decide when to stop and refuel. The children are able to self select from a choice of fruits, vegetables, bread sticks, crackers with milk or water to drink.The session ends with a short circle time activity.
- Afternoon Nursery session: 12.00 – 3.00 (£15:50 for 2 year olds. £14.50 for 3 years and over)
It’s that time a day where all children aged 2 to 5 years old to sit down together for the social experience of lunch time. After Lunch children are provided with a range of activities whilst the room is re-set up ready for free flowing from the outdoor to the indoor environment. Children once again are given the opportunity to select activities covering all 7 areas of development. Children are offered the opportunity to stop and refuel with a drink of milk or water.The session ends with a short circle time.
After school session: 3.00 – 5.30 (£12.00)
The preschoolers enjoy the experience of walking to the school to collect the older children, supporting their confidence when they transition to school. Once back to the setting the children enjoy a healthy snack of Fruits, Vegetables and home backed products such as, bread, waffles, savory muffins and pizzas. The children attending are given the opportunity to take part in a range of activities such as help with home work, reading, coloring, board games, messy activities, computer games, painting, baking, working in the allotment and have access to the outdoors.
When registered with us and subject to availability, we offer parents the option to book ‘last minute’ flexible session times for those moments when you need extra childcare support.
To book a session or even the whole day, simply call the Country Mice office to find out about availability – even if it’s for the following day! If it is early morning, it is best to email.
