After School Club Leader

Contract – Term time only, Permanent Hours – 3pm till 6pm Monday to Thursday
An opportunity has arisen at Country Mice Nursery for an After School Club Leader,
providing school care for children who attend St.Peters, Cowfold School.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and committed person to lead our After School Club. You will be part of a small & friendly team ensuring a safe and happy environment for all the children.

This is a fixed position to start in September 2024. Applicants must have their interest
submitted by the 9th of May and interviews will take place shortly after.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families
and expect all staff to share this commitment. This role requires a DBS disclosure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with children aged 5-11 in various play activities.
• Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at the after-school club.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment within the club premises.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child’s activities and
  progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
