Here are some recent comments from our parents.
My Daughter Myla started at Country Mice at nearly 2 1/2 years old and is about to leave next week for big school! When she arrived she was exceptionally quiet, a real observer never speaking up in front of a group. Thanks to the staff, the safe environment and some encouragement she has really come out of her shell. She is a different child, so much more confident. I really put this down to the excellent environment created within the Pre-school. Myla loves all the staff and this shows in how she has really thrived.
I personally have been delighted with all the things Myla has been taught and the opportunities they have given her. The highlight of my year was seeing Myla at sports day/the swimming pool party/the summer fete. It’s great seeing all the children interact. I’ve always thought I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the Pre-school and watch them. I’d like to really thank everyone for starting Myla off in such a positive way on her journey to school. I’m pleased I’ve just signed up Pippa as we are not ready to leave yet!
Our relationship with Country Mice started 11 years ago, when our eldest son started nursery. Since then we have had 2 girls attend and “graduate” and our youngest son is in his last few days of his time at this wonderful nursery. Although we are excited for Noah to start the next chapter of his life, we are also full of sadness, as we too say goodbye to the wonderful staff and building that have helped shape our children into the people they have become.
We feel, that at country mice our children have really mattered and they have always built a special bond with the lovely people who spend so much of their time looking after them in a way a parent could only wish for.
They are constantly fundraising to try and improve the nursery, whether that be a wonderful new garden or a giant iPad. Everything they do, is with the children in mind.
Thank You Country Mice, we will miss you x
I can’t thank the staff enough at Country Mice. My son was a very poor eater when he started at 3 years old and within a year he has come on leaps and bounds. They have worked so closely with both him and me to get him eating and he’ll try anything now! They are so friendly and caring of the children and my son will really miss them in particular his key worker, Anna. I am just glad I don’t have to let go yet as I have enrolled my other children there!
My son has loved coming to Country Mice, making friends and learning and growing in a safe, secure and fun environment. The activities are varied and almost seemed tailored to my child! He has learnt so many things I would never think to even try at home and he just thinks he’s playing all day! The kindness and professionalism shown by the staff (to all of us!) has been outstanding. My son will be sad to move on from nursery but he will still have a link as Country Mice will be providing his before and after school care. Additionally my younger son will be starting his nursery experience with the team.
