Autumn Term Update

AUTUMN TERM 2015 NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents and carers,

We would like to welcome you all back after the summer holidays, we hope you managed to enjoy some sun and have fun with your little ones. I must say we have loved sharing the holiday books we have had back so far so if you do have your child’s at home we would love to share it with them even if it is only 1 page.

To start the new term, we would like to welcome our new comers: Tommy, Timmy, Ben, Archie, and Sidney now joining the classroom. We are looking forward to them joining in with all the fun activities we have planned for the coming term.

This will be a very busy term with lots going on such as fundraising events, Halloween, Diwali, bonfire night, letter of the week and dare I say it Christmas celebrations. With this in mind please can all parents be keeping a check on e-mails our facebook page and  notice boards in the lobby. As you will know we are now using a new invoicing system, I hope this proves easier for parents to understand. In order to help us go paper free all letters and memos will also be sent via e-mail so please keep a check to ensure you are receiving these. If you are not receiving these please let me know.

We are still going to be doing the letter of the week so please continue to support your child in bringing items for the basket. It is amazing to see the basket with all the children’s personal items… Also we want to hear more of the Amazing events you are celebrating with your child.

I have attached a copy of the letter of the week rota for the next year to help you out with this.

Please look out for your child’s new next steps that will be given to you by their key person at the Beginning of October. We feel this gives the staff enough time to ensure the things we plan are challenging enough for your child and fit in with their learning journey that has been continuing over the summer when we have not seen them.

Please can I ask all parents if you have changed any of your contact details over the summer that you let us know so we can ensure we have the correct info.

Dates for your Diary
